The project is located at No. 91, Beiluogu Lane, Beijing, covering an area of about 1400 square meters. The owner is the place of Yi seats in Beijing. The site is a traditional and non-traditional courtyard. The traditional place is the two quadrangles in the core area of Beijing, which are orderly in all directions. The buildings around are also quadrangles. The unconventional area has a large underground space for the current situation of the site, and the courtyard is opened in the second courtyard, forming a unique special space of double deck courtyard
This project takes the dialogue between the new and the old as the starting point, and in the balance between the old renovation and the new reconstruction when facing the current situation of the project site, so as to achieve the purpose of experiencing a place that is always new although it is always common.
